Light up Twitter with Appreciation for Teachers

April 27, 2015 Mark Christensen

We all have that special teacher who really made the difference for us. I know I do. I remember Mr. Husbands reading the adventure story Kidnapped by Robert Louis Stevenson in 4th grade. Boy, the way he used different voices, threw in an occasional sound effect, and always left the chapter on a cliffhanger really teleported me to that amazing time of swashbucklers and pirates. To this day, it’s one of my favorite books.

Teacher Appreciation is celebrated throughout the week of May 4-8 with the official day being Tuesday, May 5th. Make sure to honor your favorite teacher using #bbthankateacher on Twitter and tell us how he or she inspired you! I’ll be giving Mr. Husbands a shout out for sure.

We will randomly select a #bbthankateacher tweet during the week and give a lucky winner a $250 Amazon Gift Card! So, don’t wait. Get your tweet out there today!
