bbcon 2014: Day 2 in Review

Grow. Connect. Learn. The second day at bbcon 2014 in Nashville, Tennessee was filled to the brim with hands-on product demos, connecting with school attendees, and breakout sessions. Here is a brief recap of the exciting topics shared throughout the day.

K-12 Roadmap
Attendees heard the latest K-12 product roadmap and plans for the future. They had a chance to learn more about the Connect Raiser’s Edge and Connect Education Edge integrations which represent the first projects to deliver the promise of Better Together.

An Introduction to WhippleHill’s Solutions
Attendees learned about the key features and benefits of onBoard (EMS), onMessage (CMS), onCampus (LMS), and onRecord (SIS) through live product demonstrations and customer testimonial videos from schools around the country. It was a great introduction to WhippleHill’s onSuite of products and an opportunity to provide a high level overview of how these products are redefining the way schools are interacting online.

Flip Your Classroom and Maximize Your Learning Management System
The six steps to converting an existing traditional lesson plan into an engaging flipped video. Attendees participated in lesson planning, software and device comparisons, differentiated content development, and style review — giving attendees valuable insight on how they can increase student engagement.

Together at Last! Front Office and Back Office
During this session, Peter Baron and Cory Kennedy shared the “Whole School. Connected.” experience that powers the onSuite. They dove into how parents, students and teachers benefit from an exceptional front end experience. They didn’t stop there — attendees got a view of how the onSuite integrates in a meaningful way with Education Edge & Raiser’s Edge.

Attendees walked away with an important message: It’s front office + back office for a true “Whole School. Connected” experience.
