Good Eats in Boston for UC14!

June 26, 2014 Mark Christensen

The User Conference is fast approaching. Can you believe we’ll be packing our bags and heading down to Boston in no time?

Training, learning, and sharing will be happening in full force throughout the conference. I know that’s going to make me hungry. So, we lined up an amazing menu throughout the UC, including the New England clambake on Wednesday night. We’ll be enjoying this fest outside together, overlooking the harbor, and the stunning Boston skyline. A great way to celebrate our first day with lobster, chicken, steamers, corn on the cob, and more!

But what if you and your colleagues want to venture out into the city while you’re here? Especially, if you win one of ten $100 Restaurant Gift Cards being offered at the Ecosystem Cocktail Party Thursday night. A complimentary water taxi across the Boston Harbor is included of course. Well, I’ve compiled a short list of some great restaurants to whet your appetite.

Legal Harborside
Legal Sea Foods’ flagship property on the Boston Waterfront, comprised three floors and three different culinary concepts under one (retractable) roof. All aboard!

Strega Waterfront
The phenomenon started in 2003 with the opening of the legendary North End landmark. It quickly become famous for its dramatic decor, celebrity clientele, unmatched hospitality and most of all, its unforgettable Italian cuisine.

Tia’s
Overlooking the waterfront and the beautiful Columbus Park, Tia’s Boston is nestled in between historical Faneuil Hall and the picturesque North End. Enjoy a wonderful meal in an atmosphere of dark finished wood and arching doorways.

City Landing
This casual contemporary American restaurant located on Boston’s Waterfront translates both fine dining and a passion for the highest of standards. Guests are treated to an energetic and thoughtful dining experience.

Chart House
Specializing in dazzling views, unique cuisine, and exceptional service. From fresh fish specialties to succulent steaks, the renowned chefs of Chart House have tailored a menu that adds a unique touch to local flavors.

Let’s not forget about dessert. The North End offers some great pastries, but which shop is the best? You decide. There are three great shops all within walking distance of each other – Modern Pastry, Mike’s Pastry, and Bova’s Bakery. All three offer a great selection and their own charm. I’m sure to bring back some great treats to the hotel. A perfect late night snack.

See you in Boston!
