With our February product release, we made a lot of people happy with an enhancement to the “Edit Page” screen in onMessage. Janet Wittenberg, Product Owner for onMessage, shares the details in this week’s Idea to Feature.
Edit Content Right on the Page!
When you navigate to Edit Page in onMessage, you’ll see your content blocks got an upgrade — they display the associated content right in the block. Not only is the content displayed, managers can edit it as well.
This is useful in a numbers of ways.
For instance, when you’re selecting from existing content, you’ll see the content appear in the block. It gives you a quick visual cue to make sure that you’ve picked the right item — no need to guess, it’s right in front of you.
It’s also helpful when you’re creating new content for a page.
After dragging a content block onto the page, you can create a new category just by clicking the “Create New” button in order to start building. You may never need to navigate back over to the Content menu to add new content.
Also take the example of news or events, when you need to add a new item to a particular page, you can click on the green “+Add” button to post the latest news or event. It’ll appear right on the page.
