It's been another great #BBK12UC in Boston!
Big excitement starting day two with the General Session discussing products and innovation at Blackbaud. Travis Warren, President of K-12, got us started with the long-term vision for Blackbaud's education management solutions (formerly the “ON” products) and the value of one system. Think improved insights, enhanced security and advanced automation (Travis' favorite) to name a few.
Cory Kennedy, Director of Products for K-12, then introduced his team who demoed (show don't tell!) the newest features that have been released in Blackbaud's education management solutions and NXT. We heard lots of claps and “ohs and ahs” as the products team showed off their hard work. Some highlights included SKY Reporting and the ability to get true insights into your data, the introduction of Rubrics and Gradebook updates to make your teachers oh so happy and the focus on schedule maker to improve the experience. Lots of excitement when Paul demoed the ability for the development office to use a heat map to find their top prospects by location. Cory then closed out the products session with the future looking vision of the Blackbaud suite of products including Blackbaud ID, SKY API, Mail, Partner marketplace and more!
Finally, we heard from Blackbaud's CTO, Mary Beth Westmoreland, about the long-term vision of innovation as part of the Solution Strategy. Frictionless, innovative and high performance is the future for our K-12 schools.
Big day two as we hear from industry experts today in the best practices sessions!
