Three Blackbaud K-12 School Websites Honored in the 2018 WebAwards

September 11, 2018 Danielle Wood

All of us at Blackbaud K–12 are thrilled to congratulate the website teams at Lycée Français de New YorkPrep for Prep, and Stanstead College, as well as our own Professional Services Team, for earning Education Standard of Excellence honors in the 2018 WebAwards.

The WebAwards are an annual competition from the Web Marketing Association, an organization that strives to boost the standard of excellence for website development and marketing. The WebAwards are judged by a panel of industry experts that includes members of the media, advertising and marketing executives, and creative directors. Each site is graded on seven criteria: design, copywriting, innovation, content, interaction, navigation, and use of technology.

“The sites are judged on such a wide range of criteria,” said Morgan Banville, manager, interactive development at Blackbaud K–12, “it goes to show how much of a team effort it is to create a school website—from everyone developing content and working on the sites at the schools to our designers and strategic consultants.”

Each of the award-winning sites is a product of Blackbaud K–12's professional-level design service engagement. The sites are also powered by Blackbaud School Website SystemTM, the industry-leading CMS solution for K–12 private schools.

Lycée Français de New York (LFNY)

LFNY is an independent school committed to bilingual French and American education of the highest standard in preschool through grade 12. The school’s new website aimed to highlight the community and human elements of LFNY, and to promote the immersive experience of the school through high-impact visuals and interactivity.

Prep for Prep

Prep for Prep provides gifted young people of color access to a first-rate education and an array of leadership and professional advancement opportunities by preparing and placing students in schools. Their site’s design introduces an atmosphere of class and sophistication, combined with a sense of purpose and invitation for Prep for Prep’s community. Design elements were carefully tailored to ensure families are well informed of the organization’s mission and made to feel welcome.

Stanstead College

A private boarding school in Quebec, Stanstead College helps students in grades 7–12 reach their full potential in preparation for university. The goal of Stanstead’s new website is to showcase the entire school experience, enabling athletics, humanities, and student activities to complement the academic program. As a result, the new site highlights photography and provides the school with the flexibility to customize every page as needed.

Congratulations Lycée Français de New York, Prep for Prep, and Stanstead College!
