The 2019 WebAwards are out, and in the Education category, congratulations go to The Shipley School for winning Best Education WebsiteLong Island Lutheran for winning Outstanding Website, and Fort Bend Christian Academy for earning Education Standard of Excellence honors. This is the second consecutive year that Blackbaud K–12 school websites have received recognition in the WebAwards.

WebAwards are an annual competition from the Web Marketing Association, an organization that strives to boost the standard of excellence for website development and marketing. The WebAwards are judged by a panel of industry experts that includes members of the media, advertising and marketing executives, and creative directors. Each site is graded on seven criteria: design, copywriting, innovation, content, interaction, navigation, and use of technology. The highest score in a given category wins Best Website of that industry.

“The Education category in the WebAwards spans K–12 schools, higher ed institutions, and organizations that created education-related websites,” said Travis Warren, president and GM of Blackbaud K–12 Solutions, “so it's a tremendous honor for these schools and our services team to receive this recognition. Congratulations to all involved.”

Each of the award-winning sites is a product of Blackbaud K–12's professional-level design service engagement. The sites are also powered by Blackbaud School Website SystemTM, the industry-leading CMS solution for K–12 private schools.

Long Island Lutheran Middle & High School (LuHi)

LuHi is a leading college preparatory school, serving students in grades 6–12 that provides affordable, independent, faith-based education. The goal of the school's award-winning website was to showcase the entire student experience, enabling athletics, humanities, and activities to complement the academic program.
