It’s no surprise that teachers, administrators, students, and parents are expecting more from their online school experience.

Teachers recognize the importance technology plays and the ability to provide timely, interactive learning materials in the classroom is always welcomed. Annotating a student’s assignment is just one example. Not to mention administrators offering parents convenient access to a complete school calendar with just a single sign on.

Now with our newest integrations built to leverage the features offered by Google, schools are in a much better position to connect their whole community. Google and specifically Google Apps for Education (GAFE), offer powerful communication and collaboration tools for schools including calendars, cloud document storage, and access to Google Drive. Our Google integrations are easily accessed right from onCampus our Learning Management System as well as from the Core of all of our “on” products.

We put together a list of our hottest Google integrations with some quick videos to show them in action. Plus, you can download our convenient Google integrations guide. Check it all out below!

Single Sign on to Google Apps

Schools can link right to Gmail or choose to direct people to Drive, Calendar or any Google App they prefer. You’ll have easy access because the Google link is always conveniently located on the global navigation bar.

Google Calendar Sync

Use our Google integration to display a Google Calendar (even a private one) on your school Master calendar. Offering a one stop calendar really helps streamline your school communication. This way folks in your school community no longer need to jump between different calendars to see all your events.

Student & Teacher Access to Google Drive

Students can quickly attach their Google docs saved in the cloud and add in a note using the HTML editor before submitting their assignment. Teachers are able to jump right into a student’s submission where they can use Google’s tools for commenting, editing, and seeing revision history. Plus teachers can easily enter an assignment grade with the onCampus gradebook.
