Blackbaud has developed a one way integration between its enrollment management system, onBoard, and the Standard Application Online, a common application used by many private schools.
The Standard Application Online (SAO) is a common application which enables students and families to submit a single, online, application form to multiple participating schools at once. It reduces the need for families to enter duplicate information therefore making it easier for families to quickly apply to multiple schools. The SAO is managed by The Enrollment Management Association (formerly known as the Secondary School Admission Test Board, SSATB).
By accepting the SAO, private school admissions offices widen their pool of candidates. The onBoard/SAO integration streamlines workflows by automatically pulling the SAO into the onBoard application processing center. From there candidate records can be created easily based on data collected . The printable application can be run from the onBoard Application Processing Center but is hosted by The Enrollment Management Association.
