The schools that successfully navigate the process without issue are those that are best prepared. So, instead of losing sleep over whether enrollment contracts will function properly and flow seamlessly into Blackbaud Smart Tuition TM , follow these tips to ensure that you and the responsible signers are both confident—and well- rested—throughout the process. 1 Test the contracts. Start with the eyeball test by using the preview feature. Then, assign a couple of fake users to the contract and go through the process under their names. It's important to use test users on the first pass because each user can only complete the Blackbaud Smart Tuition contract process once. Finally, select a small sample group of actual users—such as faculty members with children at the school—and have them go through the process without instruction to see if they have any unanticipated questions. 2 Communicate that contract season is coming. Let your responsible signers know what to expect—delivery date, due date, instructions, FAQs, etc. If you send the information via email, also add it to a resource board for easy access. Bonus tip: Take screenshots when you go through the process as a test user to use in this communication. For existing Blackbaud Smart Tuition customers who are using the enrollment contract integration for the first time, make sure that parents know they will be prompted to enter their Blackbaud Smart Tuition credentials the first time they access the contract to avoid potential duplicates. If you haven't used the integration, but have used the SSO, the system will recognize your users as long as they have used the SSO previously.
