What makes for effective content marketing? Help us find out!

July 24, 2015 Peter Baron

I clearly recall the first time I uttered the words “content marketing” in a presentation. It was a pretty straight forward request, “by a show of hands, how many people in the room are using content marketing or inbound marketing as part of your school outreach plan?”

Not one hand reached for the sky. Seriously, not one.

Now, to be completely fair, that was back in 2008 (an altogether different age in digital marketing) and by any measure, times have changed. Ask that question today, and more than ¾ of the room will respond in the affirmative.

Stats galore show content marketing adoption and usage across the greater web. Look here, here and here for just a few sets of data.

But how is content marketing supporting the focused world of nonprofits? How are we connecting and engaging supporters? Can it be used to raise more money and engage donors?

Blackbaud has witnessed a surge in content marketing in the nonprofit world, and now we want to measure what makes for effective content marketing.

We need your help to make that happen.

In partnership with The Content Marketing Institute, this year Blackbaud will be producing the 3rd edition of the annual report — Nonprofit Content Marketing: 2015 Benchmarks, Budgets, and Trends!

Take the short survey and get access to the final report early! http://www.readexweb.net/cmi2/surveye.asp
