Last week we announced that after our August 28, 2013 release, you’ll be able to set priority order for your Resource Boards…and based on the feedback we’re getting, it’s pretty clear schools are excited for the enhancement.
Well, we didn’t stop there — on that very same day, you’ll also be able to prioritize your Topics in onCampus, our Learning Management System.
Jackie Christensen, Product Owner for onCampus, explains how over the past months, a number of schools have shared how much that they like the way Topics allows teachers to easily consolidate and post class resources.
That’s always good to hear, but we’re even more grateful for the feedback they shared on how to further improve Topics.
Schools told us that teachers who are creating a number of class Topics would love to have an easier way to control the order in which they appear on the screen.
Rather than fiddling with the publish dates to re-order how Topics display, wouldn’t it be more efficient to provide teachers with a tool to set the priority order via drag & drop?
Jackie and her team sure thought so — and starting on August 28th, this will be possible.
Teachers will see a new “Topic Priority” button when they log onto Topics. When they click on the button, they’ll see a list of all of their Topics, and they’ll be able to use drag & drop to easily establish the order so that, as Jackie says, “they can get their topics arranged in the right way for their students.”
We love to make user feedback a reality – so keep it coming.
